Tom Staniford is one of the most popular and richest Sport Cyclist who was born on July 1, 1989 in Akrotiri and Dhekelia, United Kingdom. Staniford was then a member of Bikin Motion CC. He was in preparation for Bikin Motion’s Junior Tour of Wales but suffered a broken wrist during a collision competing at Ilton (raf the merryfield race track). He was unable to race, Staniford accompanied Bikin Motion nevertheless, and also performed the role of a soigneur for the team. Following his healing, Staniford continued to ride with Bikin Motion, and became more focused on his sport. Staniford was for a place as a representative of Great Britain in the 2009 Taipei Deaflympics but unfortunately a crash while out training caused a broken wrist and head injury that made him unable to compete.

Staniford purchased his first bike for road use in 2005. He soon was a keen cyclist. In June of 2006 the cyclist was involved in an accident head-on with a car while he was training.
